Why do we feel connected to people by reading their online ‘Status’ rather than asking them what is actually happening in their lives? At this rate people will live in isolation never interacting with anything other than machines. But what if technology had a heart? What if it could experience emotion and actively draw people closer together rather than aggravating the space between us?
