Overview

Tatsunobu Sagara (Kazuyoshi Ozawa), a wakagashira (underboss) of the Natsume-gumi, was expanding his influence by leveraging the reputation of Mitsuru Gono (Shiro), wakagashira of the Tanba-gumi. Meanwhile, Daisuke Kanamori (Hideyuki Kawahara), also of the Tanba-gumi, was aggressively encroaching upon business territories monopolized by the Natsume-gumi. Although Gono and Kanamori were both formidable figures renowned in the yakuza underworld, their mutual animosity had brought the organization to the brink of an internal feud. Tanba-gumi boss Fujio Yamadai (Hakuryu) ordered the organization's number two, Kenzo Ushikubo (Hitoshi Ozawa), to keep a close watch on them; however, even he could not curb the escalating friction between these men, each driven by fierce yakuza ambition...
